Choosing a day home can be a very hard decision, that is why I decided to open a day home of my own. I want to provide your children with their home away from home​. 

 Hello,

My name is Jessica Suecroft and I would love to care for your little one.

 

I have a love for children which influenced my decision to switch from the culinary industry to childcare. Before entering the culinary world, I worked as a nanny and as a preschool assistant teacher. My culinary background has given me knowledge of food to produce fun, well rounded meals as well as food safety.

 

The dayhome equipment and toys are cleaned and sterilized on a daily basis. The activity center is located in the upstairs. This is a smoke free environment. Children are involved in arts and crafts, reading, dancing,yoga, outdoor play (for at least 1-2 hours per day weather permitting) and other various learning activities. I strive to provide a fun, safe and educational environment for your children to learn and grown.

We like to go on lots of picnics,trips to the lake, and some field trips with parents permission.  We like to stay busy throughout the day with a nice relaxing break after lunch with nap-time for the little ones and quiet time for the older ones.

​

I have my child first aid/CPR certification and police clearance .

We have a dog named Henry and a cat named Muffin. Both animals have grown up with babies / children around them, are very friendly and great with children.  Also a great way for children to be introduced to animals.

My 7 year old daughter Jordan has been at Auntie Pickles Dayhome for before and after school care, half days every Friday and PD Days and for full days in the summer / spring breaks etc..   for almost 3 years - Since K, and now my 7 year old is in grade 2.

 

Jordan loves going to Jessicas to learn and play.  So much so that if I ask her on a Friday afternoon if she wants to come home while I work or go to Jessicas - she always picks Jessicas.  There is loads of outdoor play time - no matter the weather, healthy and yummy snacks / meals and always fun crafts and activities that Jordan gets to do while she is with Jessica.
